*TRIP

Today , I had a short trip.

Trip line:
London Eye-Big Ben-China Town.

TIP:

LONDON EYE-The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, is the tallest (135 metres (443 ft)) Ferris wheel in Europe, and has become the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom, visited by over 3 million people a year.

At the time it was erected it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, until it was surpassed by the Star of Nanchang (160m) in May 2006, and then the Singapore Flyer (165m) on February 11, 2008. However, it is still described as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel" (because the entire structure is supported by an A-frame on one side only) by its operators.

The London Eye is located at the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank of the River Thames in London, United Kingdom, between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge. The site is adjacent to that of the former Dome of Discovery, which was built for the Festival of Britain in 1951.

Meanwhile, I finished my first week in English course.
How about my new life, what is been Difficult? Easy? Interesting? Boring? Surprising?
It is hard to say…… I just remember how terrible of my first day in london.
When I arrived in London airport, facing the city I could not find any familiar around.
From that day ,I have to do everything for myself. It was a difficult time for me,but luckly I weathered through beautifully.

Now, I have adapted myself to new life.I living in a nice flat in Wood Green.
I made many new friends during my study. They are Japanese, Corean, Italian, ect.
Although we are from different country,we get along well with each other and they are very helpful for my English study.

I love my busy and full new life.

*INTRODUCTION - FOR MY ESSAY

I wrote a introduction for my essay, I was not sure whether it was the formal style.

Starting in the late 20th century, after the ending of the 'cold war', 'Globalization', especially the "economic globalization", has become one of the hottest topics. As everyone has their own thoughts, some economists say it is a good issue since it can make us much wealthy and enjoyable. However some other economists take the suspected opinion, or total opposite point of view. They have pointed out that if the globalization is really a beneficiary or positive thing, how come the world economy is in currently a messy situation? Focusing on this issue, the fierce discussion has been existed for a long time among the academic field and mediums. This essay will briefly discuss the pros and cons of the ‘Globalization’, in addition seeking for the possible solutions towards the process the economy globalization. There are a few important questions that need to be asked when discussing globalization and the effects it has on the world. Does more international trade openness increase world poverty? Does globalization aggravate inequality? Is globalization causing a 'race to the bottom' in environmental standards?
